Privacy Policy

The short version: Roundful collects minimal data, never sells it, and you can delete it at any time. We collect only what's necessary to make the app work.

1. Who we are

Roundful ("we", "us", or "our") is a mobile application that helps you track food intake using a simple circle-based system. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our app or visit our website at www.roundful.app.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, and some information automatically:

Account information: Your name and email address when you join our waitlist or create an account.
App usage data: Meals logged, circle counts, activity entries, and daily summaries — stored locally on your device and optionally synced via iCloud.
Device information: Basic device type, OS version, and app version for troubleshooting.
Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to help us improve the app. We do not track individual behavior.

3. How we use your information

To operate and improve the Roundful app and website
To send you the launch notification you signed up for (waitlist only)
To respond to support requests
To understand how the app is used, in aggregate

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

4. Data storage

Your health and food logging data is stored primarily on your own device. If you choose to enable iCloud sync, data is stored in your personal iCloud account under Apple's privacy terms. Waitlist information is stored on secure servers located in the United States.

5. Data retention

We retain waitlist information until you ask us to remove it, or until the app launches and you create an account. App data on your device is entirely under your control — you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app or using the in-app data deletion option.

6. Third-party services

We may use the following third-party services:

Apple iCloud: Optional data sync, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy
Analytics provider: Anonymized usage data only; no personal identifiers shared

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Withdraw consent at any time
Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

8. Children's privacy

Roundful is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of the app after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
